Your hirings of holidays near our islands in Southern Brittany in Morbihan
BELLE-ILE
A "star in the sea". 45 minutes of cruising is all it takes to reach the largest of Brittany's islands (9 km wide and 20 km long) via its
capital, Le Palais, sheltered behind the Vauban citadel, or via the small Sauzon harbour, full of flowers. It is in its small colourful
valleys, its fragile dunes and its little creeks that "the well named" Belle-Ile inspired Alexandre Dumas, Monet, Sarah Bernhardt and many others…
GROIX
When you head for the Island of Groix (8 km long by 3 km wide), as soon as you board you will be able to look over Lorient's various
natural harbours (passenger, commercial, fishing, marina, military), then the Louis harbour citadel, the last rampart facing the sea. A
historic entrance to be experienced before the joy of scouring this island's many pages.
HOUAT
14 km off Quiberon and separated from its twin sister Hoëdic by 8 km of blue waves, Houat is a peaceful island that has always
remained free of motor vehicles. Set off from Saint-Gildas harbour, its fishing village, on your hikes between soft white beaches and
cut-away reefs. As in the first Celtic springs, sheets of mauve heathland and lawns of small gracious flowers will reveal to you the original meaning of sounds, of perfume and of colour
HOEDIC
A few miles away from Houat and once you have sailed past the Sisters, the island of Hoëdic appears. This is a smaller and lower
island, albeit modelled out of the same granite rock that stands up to even the worst storms. In this silent and trouble-free scenery,
scattered with thousands of multicolour flowers, the island of Hoëdic welcomes you in for some unforgettable walks.
